Nepal Earthquake Relief package Distribution, 2015
-at Devghat, Tanahu, Nepal
               
              HDO Nepal in coordination with Devghat VDC, Tanahu and SAHAS Nepal,  distributes Rice of 30 kg, Pulse 3 kg, Soap 3 piece, cooking oil 2 liters, iodine salt 2 kg, puffing rice 1 kg per household of earthquake victim area in the presence of VDC sectetory, HDO Nepal president, Party chairpersons or representatives, Ward level civil desk coordinator and others. 20 pieces of tarp also distributed for only fully damaged household. About 65 Household have been benefited from this distribution.

Youth Conference

Youth conference on” ROLE OF CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT” for three days in June, 2010 at Shreekot Church, Shreekot Chitwan. We had conducted this conference in collaboration with three local churches, which provided the lodging and fooding expenses for the participants. More than 150 youths participated this conference. Our concern during this program was how to lead youth in faith in Jesus Christ and as well as how to encourage them to be participated in social work and teach them how we can help our community development.
Impact of flood in Terai region of Nepal Worst rain of 11 August 2017 caused huge loose of lives assets, housing, infrastructure including water and sanitation, food stocks and agriculture production. NeKSAP estimated that more than 0.94 million peoples are in still food insecure. Almost 300,000 people or 58,300 households would need food assistance on a priority basis.  Most affected districts were Saptari, Siraha, Mahottari, Rautahat, Banke and Bardiya. Agriculture including livestock and fisheries area highly affected. Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD) reported losses of about NRP 2.76 Billion and NPR 1.64 Billion in fishery and vegetable respectively and 47,000 hectares of paddy land was inundated. Ministry of Livestock Development (MoLD) estimated the loss of NRP 3.87 Billion due to damage of livestock and livestock products.
