About us

Holistic development organization (HDO) Nepal is non-profitable, non- political, non-governmental, Christian social organization. It was established in 23rd May 2010 by forming the committee of nine founder members. HDO, Nepal has been registered at District Administration office, Chitwan, Nepal (Regd. No. 131/2009/010 and PAN No. 601829204) which was established by the faith of Jesus Christ. It believes on holistic developmental approach for the sustainable development of nation.

Vision:

HDO, Nepal established with the vision to support and encourage Nepali people who are marginalized, are less fortunate than the others, who are being victim of social discrimination, facing daily livelihood problems, lack of aware on health and sanitation and so on. Our vision is to build up the society of equality, make people of having same thought and to make a healthy community in every sector. Our focus is on sanitation, education, livelihood and ecological balance in the villages and the rural areas.

Mission:

  1.  Making youths able to fight with the problems for their own community by encouraging and promoting their knowledge and skills 
  2. Enabling the people to achieve self-reliance and self-sufficiency in their basic needs.
  3. Making better lives of the people in target area,
  4.  Creating educated community with well equip and skillful manpower to develop the society one as well as the nation.
  5.  Creating peaceful, harmonious, and moral society with social justice. Eradicating the caste discrimination, gender issues, social injustice, domestic voilence and so on..
  6. Operating local government on social work

Madi Chitwan

                    About Madi, Chitwan, Nepal Madi is a part of Chitwan district of Nepal. Though Chitwan is counted as one of the comperatively developed district of Nepal, Madi is totally different. Surrounded by densely forested hill on the south, east and west; separated from mainland Chitwan by 2 rivers and thick forest of Chitwan National Park Madi a beautiful valley for it's around 90,000 inhabitants. On the south it borders to India's least developed state of Bihar, but is not linked by means of transport. The border area is covered with dense forest and hills. Madi does not have electricity yet and no round the year road link to mainland Chitwan, ie. the district HQ. Madi does not have a reliable health facility, has no reliable telephone, internet! It is remote because to be in Madi we have to pass Chitwan National Park. Roadways cannot be made because it harms to the wild animals. So very few buses like 5 -6 buss...

Blood Donation Programme

Blood donation program organized on 6 July 2010 in a school, Bharatpur 11. In that program 16 people donated their blood. The Red Cross Society, Bharatpur helped HDO to organize this program. We the members of HDO had collected the fund for this. More than 5 HDO’s members also donated blood there. We all are so fond of to being a part of such good work. We also love to organize many other programs like this frequently but the lack of sufficient fund we are unable to continue all these.
